Thanks guys for your warnings. I got interested when in the Sunday Herald Sun Jan 1, 2017, Finance pages, Sean Conlan of Shaw and Partners gave it a Buy at 75 cents with a Price Target of $1.45.
Have a look at the prospectus section 7.4 Use of Funds (to be raised) to see that little or none goes into the operation or expansion of the company. Everything goes to the former shareholders and the former executives.
Conlan says they regard it as a well-run company, but I strongly disagree. Reading one of the recent updates, the effect of online sales by other retailers gets a mention. I think online sales by other retailers of the small-sized items sold by Shaver Shop most definitely will continue to grow, thus cutting any demand for the planned growth in the number of Shaver Shop stores. It is , in my opinion, the time for Shaver Shop to be closing stores and building online sales.
I agree with the other posters in this thread - it's a (dying) dog at any price.
