    Hi Rastus2....we all come from different backgrounds and have vastly diffetent views and ideas, and have appreciated yours and the many other knowledgeable posters.
    I'm a retired engineering surveyor(36 yrs) of which my main focus was road location, design, construction, quarrying and mapping, so guess that helps me picture whats possible for OC.
    Obviously UG mining has to be considered in the SS with initial jorc, but whether it actually occurs or is required is another thing.
    The above is my view only of course, but I'm trying to be as practical as possible.
    Say for instance future drilling delineates a total of 30km of DOF strike similar to what we now have out of a possible 100km...that gives 20yrs of OC mining at 1.5km /yr. to the 100m depth.
    If we only had an OC to 50m depth(which would be a doddle), then obviously it equates to 10 yrs of OC mining.
    As you say, possibly the only reason you'd consider going UG would be much highet grades than we've currently got.
    I just don't see why we would need to go UG for the foreseeable future as it's not only more costly but after 10 yrs the need for Co might not even exist...or very little of it.
    These are my thoughts only and didn't intend to.put other posters down...so apologise if I did.
    I guess I just get a bit irritated when I can see how easy it is for OC...but that's still all contingent on what further drilling produces.
    Either way, it looks to me to be a very profitable venture which ever way it evolves.
    Guess we'll all know in a couple of months.
