Just bought in last Friday and added more on Monday – avg price A$0.1188 been watching CLA for a while, and doing quite a bit of research on the company and then reading the Hot Copper posts – thank you some great posters here (Phuket Guy, ans25, Gorton, Bratty, Kropka etc). I think the stars are now aligning very nicely for CLA and with the JORC 3^rd party resource report due next few weeks and the initial scoping study anticipated by end of 1Qtr 2018 we will start to see a major re-rating of CLA and reasonable increase in share price.

I very much like what I see in CLA

1) Management seem competent, engaging and fast moving in progressing the CLA opportunity as fast as they can.

2) All important 3^rd Party Maiden (1^st) Resource report due in the next few weeks however all the drill reports that have been released to date that will make up the JORC report are very positive and lead me to believe the independent 3^rd party JORC resource report will also be very positive.
(I typically only invest in companies with 3^rd party verified JORC resources or where JORC report are due very shortly and the underlying drill data looks overwhelmingly positive – CLA its that bill. I am in AUZ and KRC from early days and see a similar opportunity here with CLA.

3) The scoping study (PFS) due by end 2^nd Qtr. 2018 will give us a good idea on the economics of the program. Again I am expecting the scoping study to be significantly positive.
The CLA Opuwo Project positives
- Good Cobalt grades Copper zinc by products.
- Sulphide host rock easier /cheaper processing than Laterite
- Ample water and Electricity at or near mine site
- Good sealed road and other infrastructure between Opuwo Mine site and Walvis Bay port and Winhoek the capital (though quite a distance about 750km).
The only negative is depth this will probably not be open cast – however the above positives will IMHO more than offset the cost of shaft mining versus open cast

4) Namibia – I would not usually invest in Africa especially DRC etc – however Namibia is about the only country in Africa I would invest in they have a good rule of law and have a history of being very fair and attractive to inward resource mining /oil gas i.e investment friendly. They are a well run country for Africa a low population 2.3 million and relatively high average income of US$6,900 per head (compared to DRC over 86 million population and old US300 avg income).
CLA also have strong local connections with Gecko Namibia a 5% shareholder and their MD Pine S VanWyk on the CLA Board. So yes I am happy to invest in CLA in Namibia.

5) Metallurgy – they have made fast progress, its still very early days however I have now doubt that by the time of the PFS / Scoping Study due end June that they will have achieved and proved the process for the 99.5% - 99.9% cobalt sulfate battery grade purity.

6) The demand and pricing for Cobalt is not slowing down as has been shown instead of end users having the pricing power in mineral negotiations, with Cobalt we are seeing the reverse where end Cobalt users EV car companies and battery makers etc. are courting mineral producers and at an earlier and earlier stage such is growing gap between Cobalt demand and supply. I have no doubt that CLA Opuwo will go ahead fast and will good off take or equity partners and find financing to progress this project.

In addition and what really got my attention with CLA is the additional potential for further Cobalt resource. The JORC is based on I think only 11 Km of 15km mineralized strike however there is additional over 100km of further prospective prospective
Its still to early too speculate however IMHO CLA Opuwo has the potential to be one of the largest non DRC Cobalt resources in the world.

Lets hope the new drilling that will take place after the JORC will prove up some of this additional 100 km of prospective Cobalt Copper strike, then we would really be talking.

I have no doubt that CLA is already attractive to larger mining and EV Battery companies, however I hope management find a way to go all the way. They have done a remarkable job to date in such a short space of time. Well done to them. I am glad to be on board CLA. Lets hope it goes well GLTA - Thai

I was just reading the last presentation again from the 28-2-18 and see the scoping study is due in May 2018 with PFS to commence in May with an infill and extension drilling program to start in May also, both based on the assumption of a positive scoping study outcome.
I can't see the S/S being a problem at all and with that drilling program not far away, a larger resource and SP over the next few months is pretty much a forgone conclusion in my book.
