PG..mate...CLA SP has nothing to do with COB.
Each mining company has its own growth path, timings of CR, PFS, etc. (and timings of SP rises and falls)
And there is plenty of investment $$ available to propel both CLA and COB, and many other companies offering a financially profitable option. As such, I do not believe there is a completion in play.
COB is a wonderful investment opportunity in its own right (and I don't want to harp on it too much on CLA forum).. and so may be (and we hope)..CLA..but a lot of things unproven as yet which is reflected in current SP. A maiden JORC ANN or a target JORC ANN may not mean much to potential investors, unless the mine is proven to be very profitable by the Scoping Study (given UG conditions , and narrow mineralisation veins.)
So IMO we all have to wait for the SS to prove the financial credentials to investors.
Also, there is no guarantee, as to what the rest of the 100 or so KMS strike holds in terms of Cobalt....at what depth, width, etc...so a lot of this is speculation...no doubt ..grades/ width may be better for the rest of the strike (and we hope)...but ..who knows... usually a mining company starts drilling where it thinks there is the best possible chance to find the best grades and widths of mineralisation.
Having said that, CLA has done tremendously well in SP growth during the last rolling year.
IMO. a CR post JORC and before SS would reflect a defensive posture by management (and will be viewed as a negative as they didn't risk waiting for the SS). A post SS CR would reflect confidence about the management in the project, and would lead to lesser dilution if SS portray very profitable numbers.
Also, a real desire and confidence in aiming at actual mining would also be seen as a positive ( as opposed to a desire/possibility to sell the project immediately post JORC/SS).
GLTA, and hope for the best.
