This very much depends on your definition of manipulation. Seeing multiple packets of 1 or 2 shares being sold throughout the day into a higher sell order then rinsing and repeating reeks of bots or traders playing with prices. Whether you call this "all in a days work for short term traders" or not, this was volatility designed so that short term traders can create a few pips return and fits the definition of manipulation in my mind.
I do agree with you however that we'll be playing around the 10c to 12c range until we get a JORC and/or some big money tips in.
