Happy to have a technical discussion. But lets just keep it simple for now:
Sulphide deposits for Cu/Co typically have a flow sheet of floatation, roasting, sxew for Cu and Co production. No autoclaves, no high pressure.
Laterite deposits require autoclaves and operate under higher than atmospheric pressure.
Based on the information that is available it seems like CLA will also need autoclaves albeit at a lower pressure than HPAL plants.
Why is CLA talking about autoclave leaching at higher which is typically associated with laterite deposits? Will they also be using a roaster?
Autoclave lead times and commissioning are the technical challenges for laterite projects so how do they plan to get around this?
The fact is until we see the scoping studies we are not going to get answers to these questions - so yes we shall see.
