I fell into the same trap - although i never supported the board changes of a couple of years ago.
imo - all our problems started with the departure of Mitchell. He ran, reasonably effectively, an asset trading operation that I, for one, understood and was happy with. When we changed focus to becoming a producer, the wheels fell off - not surprisingly, as a small company like MPO needs everything to go right for that to succeed.
For what it's worth, MPO has been my worst investment ever - 20c to $2 plus on 2 occasions and I never sold. I did place a sell order at $1.43 - didn't get it and hung in there. There were red flags along the way and I ignored them - silly me.
