Why oh why do people even listen to analysts? I call them historians - they just analyse what just happened!
When you think about it, anyone can read a balance sheet and the predictions made by these peanuts are on something that they cannot confidently predict.
Resource prices change daily and their predictions are largely made on the current situation with a guess at what the rest of the world is going to do with the commodity - good luck with that!
They don't know anymore than anyone else about what is going to happen next - if they did , we would be kneeling down in front of them only to look up and find they have then gone and left for a life spent on the beach in the Bahamas!!
I refer to my earlier post on Peter o'Connor, Shaw and partners that recommended a sell when S32 was in the mid two dollar range?? An expert in metallurgy and the mining industry
