I had a similar understanding as Tech. That initially LD was saying that income for 2018 should be the $7m, as per experts report to Sophs for the CR, but he thought more likely to be about $10m. And that this figure would cover the 2018 expenditure. I then believe that at a later webinar he was probably answering someone's question about AKIDA development costs, and replied saying that these were about $3m and were covered in the planned income/expenditure for 2018. All from memory mind you, I haven't relistened.

I was also under the impression that the European car company, and others ?, were already working with BRN to develop the 'kernel' and that at the time of that webinar Peter was actually travelling around Europe talking to financial institutions to try and organise their input, likewise into the kernel. I had presumed that the kernel was for AKIDA. Presumably to try and ensure that AKIDA would have the core structure to do what they wanted, so then already in place for them or maybe even for their industry, on AKIDA. But as I've previously posted, is not my technical area of expertise.
But Cyber' comments about possible cost/sales interesting, even if early 'co-developers' (partners) pay nothing for their sample of the prototype AKIDA.
