After re listening to the most recent webinar, I note we are now NOT marketing Akida commercially in the FPGA format. (Refer Louis comments about Akida @29.31mins in).
Instead it's intended to be only sold as BrainChip's Development Kit. And throughout North America it will be distributed through Bager SC. So for Companies that want to develop their own algorithms through our API they will have all their software developed and tested and all the inputs and outputs ready prior to the release of Akida NSoC. (Please refer to Para 4 in BRN's recent ASX Announcement)
In view of this, it seems the progress of the Company's move into ADAS and AV markets, specifically the European Auto manufacturer and GM in Detroit will also be using BRN's API to develop and test their own algorithms following the release of the BrainChip's Development Kit. This is all good and indicates that things are very much on track, and probably provides some further insight into just where things are at with BRN and these two behemoths, at the moment.
