    A plebiscite requires some pretty broad bipartisan support or an amalgamation of supporters to back it.. Greens cant choose to run one simply.

    "New Zealand could become the first country in the Asia-Pacific region to legalize cannabis for personal use after an unlikely alliance of populist, centrist and leftist parties put drug policy immediately on the agenda of the incoming government."

    How likely is 'an unlikely alliance' with our current political climate.. id say low unfort.
