The history of VIC's involvement in many of its ventures does not stand up to too much scrutiny.
Did I say there was no serious tin in Bolivia ? No I did not. I'm sure there is tin there if VIC was really serious about getting a project up and running.
Unfortunately I do not think VIC was ever serious about making it work. It dropped it in favour of a dabble in that Israeli Milestone Sport shoe debacle. Then it became useful to claim it back into the fold when VIC was a bit short of anything that looked like an attractive project.
We were presented with several "potential" targets about the same time or soon after which always have these promising characteristics that are similar to a neighbouring area or some wonderful overseas complex with similar characteristics.
Now Bolivia is dropped out of the mix on the excuse that their main focus now is in Australia and continuing with a project so far away in South America is not really warranted. Hmmmm. Should have been obvious in the first place if that is the real reason. Portrays poor decision making. More shareholder funds wasted. I doubt that what they have as information on tin deposits in Bolivia amounts to anything that will attract any buyers.
