Well things have definitely turned rusty for VIC's Bolivian adventure. Mind you I did say quite emphatically some months ago that I believed that this would be the end result. Bolivia was just a handy side show which was resurrected when it was convenient.

The prospect of mining for tin in Bolivia was never going to be a serious effort. Sure they went through the motions of apparently warming to the idea that they would develop the potential of another one of their projects that they had discarded and then found useful to trot out as having the potential to be a genuine project.

But you could tell from the way Bolivia began to drop down the list of comments in announcements or reports that it was never in serious contention. I mean even their testing programme of some "key" sites amounted to a bit of a kiddies play with a bucket and spade. The drilling machine used was never going to give any real in depth results.

Then, of course, the announcement of it being killed off comes out just before the long Easter break. Get it out of the way when the punters are not looking too much.

So another "major" prospect hits the dust. Perhaps those running shoes had more chance ! Milestone Sport..... I wonder how it is going these days with VIC's generous "loan" money.

Now we find that the new prospects are ones which have the "potential" to have the flavour of the month minerals and aren't we lucky that VIC managed to snap those areas up before any of the other mining companies in the area saw their "potential".

Why do VIC's projects all have potential that never seems to eventuate ?
Bolivia has turned to rust. Others will turn to dust.
