Seaborne iron ore concentrate market growth picks up pace
Strengthening premiums in the seaborne iron ore concentrate market led to growth in this segment outpacing that for high-grade fines last week.​

The weekly Metal Bulletin 66% Fe Iron Ore Concentrate Index was at $89.27 per tonne cfr China last Friday April 13, up $2.23 per tonne - or 2.6% - from a week earlier. The daily Metal Bulletin 65% Fe Iron Ore Index averaged $82 per tonne cfr China over the week, up $0.66 per tonne - or 0.8% - from the preceding week’s average of $81.34 per tonne cfr China.
