It's amazing how quickly a brainstorming meeting can turn into a blamestorming meeting. SPI futures traded in a smallish 35 point range last night, high being 5821, low being 5786, with a close this morning of 5815, up 18 points on 'I'm not really interested' volume of 8,299 contracts. Based on that move, my high resistance line is 5842, low support line is 5772, with the pivot point at 5807. Gaps from last night are down at 5813, 5805 and 5791, and our two big gap friends are still there, up at 5841 and down at 5739. I will stick to yesterdays thinking which is that the higher 41 gap will fill first, then it's 'watch out troops, the short trader is coming through', however, it is anything can happen Friday, so I would expect a nice opening gap for a clue, as SPI is only indicating XJO to be up . 34 pct, despite the DOW being up 1.21 pct the SNP being up .83 pct and the VIX being down 8.65 pct to 18.49. Canada was only up .07 (resource driven), so maybe that's a clue. Have a nice day, and remember, when a trade goes bad, don't blame the dog, blame yourself. Cheers
