BHP announces interim dividend of $US0.55

    BHP (ASX:BHP) has announced the payment of an interim dividend of $US0.55 cents per share for the half year ended December 2017.

    The dividend will be paid on the 27th of March 2018.

    News of the dividend comes after the company announced lower than expected results due to accounting losses as a result of the recent US company tax cuts

    Shares in BHP (ASX:BHP) are trading 2.56 per cent HIGHER to $29.05
