It's often been said China is hard rock hungry and most if not all Spodumene ends up being prossesed in China.
A number of weeks ago I asked myself the question.. how can the likes of BGS compete in terms of transporting raw material across the globe when China have access to so many good resources in Australia which are on their doorstep.
Why process all Hard Rock in China?
The three major auto markets are China, North America and Europe.
It is interesting that Catl are about to announce their new European and USA Mega Factory destinations v soon.

Our interest must be the European market
. Being on the North West Coast of Africa, its on the European doorstep.
. Within 7 days this deposit can be mined and in mainland Europe
.A potential resource of over 100Mt high grade Hard Rock spodumene
. Transport costs make this the most economical resource on Europe's doorstep.
Just my thoughts maybe others will disagree.
