We need all our Regulators to be reporting directly to Parliament, not to government Ministers.
How open can we expect reports to be when first they filtered through responsible Ministers managing the Government ?
When Regulators report to Parliament is tabled then Government Ministers receive their copy of the Regulator report.
After Regulators report is tabled then permit responsible Ministers up to 7 days before their initial responses must be also tabled in the Parliament.
Is duty of all MP's to ensure ALL Ministers, and those representing the Minister in the alternate house, to ensure these reports are studied and all issues addressed, all questions answered, in the Parliament.
The media is able to report on facts, comment on issues, promotes discussion of any, or all, issues arising.
