Some interesting commentary on the twittersphere today as AVXS lodged a proxy filing after the bell indicating the bidding war and how it transpired.

With Biogen being one of the few left in the ring - speculation is now mounting that it is seriously on the hunt for bolt on acquisitions. Considering AVXS went for $8.7b (USD) (They have breakthrough designation from FDA)- you would think that NEU would be well within their reach.

Anyhow - some interesting reading on the proxy filing on how something like a buyout  / deal is done at this level. Provides a timeline that might help you fill in the blanks whilst we wait for more news.
