It is dark pool but that also means you don't know if there is a buyer waiting at 16.25c and I'm not sure the process works as you describe. ie not sure a a 16c sale is placed via dark pool. could go straight to ordinary market.

If your broker participates u can place a buy or a sell order in at 16,25c.
It lasts till the afternoon auction starts and is then cancelled.

You sit in the dark pool and wait to see what happens
