I can only suggest in a positive historical sense that sometimes the drier it is that the flip to rainfall is greater.
Lag time Luckymojo, but it is about to come. If anything, the Solar cycle seems to be having an early minimum.
If I was coastal QLD I would be majorly worried now, there has to be a huge risk of a late March cyclone much stronger than anything we have seen in recent years. Given this enormous burst of trades that is going to bring on a weak La Nina, I think Easterly movement is going to be heightened this moth as the MJO will be going quiet in Phase 4. I haven't had time to read all of the thread, but ECLs are a certainty in the coming months.
