Thanks for that. Since that time, Civmec has entered a contract with Lurssen for the majority of the build of the OPVs while Austal and Lurssen are in arbitration to try and agree what if any part Austal will play in the build.

If no agreement can be reached then Austal is left completely out of the picture. It would be odd given that Civmec have never built a ship before and they have not even finished building the facility they will use to contruct the OPVs.

This is why I stated in my previous post that, unless ASB wins a big piece of the Frigate build then it should seriously consider closing the Henderson facility. ASB have said that themselves.
