The news is hitting Down Jones!!!!!!!
By Oliver Griffin
Shares in Aura Energy Ltd. (AEE.AU) rose on Thursday after the company said that its Haggan project in Sweden has an inferred resource of 13.1 billion pounds of vanadium, making it potentially one of the worlds largest vanadium sources.
The mining company also said that the technical review and corporate work on Haggan is underway and progressing well ahead of the project's proposed spin-off.
Aura Energy announced in January that it said it would spin off the Haggan polymetallic asset via an initial public offering, and that it plans to retain ownership of up to 80%.
Aura Energy's London-listed shares at 0743 GMT were up 16%, or 0.20 pence, at 1.45 pence a share.
