    If you want me to answer the question then fine....

    They are re-entering an existing oil well therefore they don't need to 1) drill a new hole 2) install any casing or remove any plugs. All they need to do is seal the existing oil and gas and enter the brine zones. It will take a fraction of the time. Once they have samples, it will take just as long to get the results from the lab.

    Understanding the complex geology of the basin will need more than one well drilled in order to fulfil their JORC requirement. The more information they have the better.
