    My instinct is that State and Federal govts will oppose the takeover of santos
    Especially to a foreign entity
    Most of the east coast gas is going offshore as lng
    They will see Santos as the last one standing to supply enough domgas
    The state of Dantopia bans any exploration onshore yet offshore is drying up
    Jaytopia has new rulers but loves the Santos
    They wouldn't want to see foreign owners in charge of Santos not doing the govt bidding
    Santos ,as it is an icon of Australia , puts Australians first !
