A couple of earlier posts raised questions about approval for a trial leach plant. Earlier this year CUY received Federal approval.
Reading a CUY ann. they then submitted a draft plan to PIRSA during September for approval at state level. My understanding is that there is no set period of time for this approval ; there are a number of departments and groups to satisfy - at least the SA Gov. is mining friendly which is supposedly of help. So I guess this has been in the works for around eight weeks now. Perhaps someone with knowledge of SA mining approvals could have a stab at the remaining weeks / months ? Would imagine that U is pretty sensitive - I remember the protests over the Beverley Mine. Will there be a stir when CUY announces approval success ?
Regarding drilling, on Sept 28 an ann. was made that in a few weeks, drilling of Oban will be complete. This must be coming due so will probably be the next announcement (but would love to see the approval come through...now !).
