It really doesn't sounds like anything more than somebody drifting in every few months for the directors meeting, and having a quick look.
I wasn't aware that SV got in trouble while at DJs with basic paperwork. I really suspect he is probably very intelligent and good at consulting work, but with FBU, and DJs problems, it doesn't really look like he has a great track record recently. A good director should have been all over FBU's problems, but instead it was a firefighting effort. There is a world of difference between being a good consultant and being the focused man in charge. I think they should have hired somebody else who is sharper and younger/probably more energetic and kept SV on as a consultant.
