I'm not so sure all Australian Dairy Farmers can convert to certified organic dairy production so easily WITHOUT all their landholdings getting soil tested. Many farm soils have been contaminated by years of misuse of insecticides and pesticides so I'm not so sure the word " organic " will be an appropriate word to use imo.
As a former Property Conveyancer I would see evidence of contamination of land and recommend buyers do soil tests. Many would not want to spend a couple hundred $$ to check but those who did were often richly rewarded by not buying contaminated land. We don't want another scandal to destroy the whole Australian Infant Formula export business, so I urge the company to do the organic conversions honestly by doing proper soil tests.
