This is a joke of a lawsuit. I can’t beleive anyone would think they are victims for taking on excessive risk and it not working out... as someone said in here: it’s like borrowing $2m for shares, 4 years later they go south and you’re down, significantly. As a result I try and sue the bank for lending me the money, despite the fact I use a third party (a broker) to provide potentially fraudulent information about my income and living status.

Courts have an obligation to throw this out in my opinion or you’ll have 1000s of cases of the morons who lost out 50-70% investing in mining towns thinking it was all money for nothing and property can’t go down...

The amount of uninformed financial illiterates who use to say property goes nothing but up, drove me insane. Any logical responses from myself contrary to that belief was met with hostility.
