One final thought..

BF's states: "Rio has made a COPPER discovery of note in Western Australia’s remote Paterson province"

And his headline is: "Talk of MAJOR Rio COPPER Find Set to Reignite Interest in the Paterson"

So, not a gold discovery, nor a lead-zinc discovery, nor any other commodity that might justify the mobilisation of two diamond rigs and a 40 man camp.

A COPPER discovery.

Which means that the original source of the rumour must have either seen the drill-chips or the assay results, otherwise they could never have been that specific about the commodity.

Which adds considerably to the credence of the rumour.


Basically Barry's informant has been specific about the commodity that has been found, about its location, about its geophysical setting, about its potential significance ('Major' and 'of note'), and about the type and size of Rio's immediate follow-up drilling program (two rigs and a 40 man camp is a big drilling program)



So what do I now think we know with reasonable certainty?

1) That there has been a copper discovery 'of note' by Rio in the Paterson province, and there is talk that it may be a 'major find'.

2) It is located next to Antipa's northernmost block of 100% owned Paterson Project tenements, on their west side, on the adjoining granted Rio tenements.

3) The discovery lies immediately along the magnetic srtike from Antipa's ground, implying that it might continue onto or that similar mineralisation may be repeated within Antipa's ground.

4) Rio is about to start or has already started a large follow up drilling program.


So even though the rumour has not gone any further yet, and even though the AZY share price is flat-lining at 1.7c , I am quite happy to have been buying it at these levels. I don't think Barry has been making all that stuff up.
