I was actually thinking more along the lines of retired pensioners who have bought in with their initial $500 investment & with the 20:1 & CR the SP dropped. So now they possibly may be affected just before good things happen for us, and that would be sad to see people miss out & not have control of what their shares are sold at, being marketable when they bought them.

So just trying to be an advocate here, I guess. If anyone needs more information or is unsure after reading the announcement in detail (paperwork will take time to come out in snail mail), I suggest you contact Ian Hobson, DXB secretary. He’s a nice bloke & very helpful on the phone. Repeat: the end date for correspondence if you want to keep your shares is 26/4/18.

I’m guessing there must be quite a lot of holdings under $500 value on 08/03/18 for DXB to tidy the register. I’m in agreeance for cutting costs wholeheartedly, however very happy to see that smaller investors whom may have to survive on their measly OAP each week the Govt provides with rising costs & coming into Winter, will not lose their shares if they cannot afford to buy more on market in the meantime.
