Just read the announcement. It’s my understanding that the company are setting up a share sale facility to sell unmarketable share Parcels (under $500), which are free of brokerage fees for SH who wish to participate. The SP was 13.5c on 8/3/18, however they go on to say that the share price that they are sold at will be at market value on the date that they are to be sold & that also intra day fluctuations can happen & that they cannot guarantee what time the individuals shares would be sold, but would make every attempt to do so at a fair & reasonable price.

You have the option to buy more shares on market to bring your holding over $500 or to notify the company that you don’t wish to sell your shares.

I strongly suggest anyone thinking of selling their unmarketable shares to read the announcement in detail. We have really no idea what the SP will be after 26 April 2018, so just a heads up for people who may be affected.

Another reason why DXB would be tidying up their share register is to cut costs in maintaining it with unmarketable holdings. To me that is very sensible & really no one will be disadvantaged by that.

They’ve been good about it, given plenty of notice for people who may wish to buy more or keep their holding under $500 if the company is notified in time. Cut off date is 26/4/18 5.00pm (AEST). They will not take your shares off you.
