I think this so called 1.5bln deal could be a concocted number by some journalists. Check the official announcement above. This suggests statsports could get $375 per person and ALL 4 million players are going to use them. Few questions below..
Does US Soccer have $1.5 bln to spend as they want? If not, is this just a recommendation to players they should use statsports? Are all players obliged to use statsports as a result of this? I think Statsports is not making any money just like Catapult now. Both companies will be burning cash for a while..
In any case, this news is saying that Catapult has some serious competition to deal with.
