My concern over the last year or so has been Catapult's strategic direction. They had a best in class GPS tracking system for elite sports. By chasing video, tactical analysis and now prosumer they have strayed far from their circle of competence and we are now relying on their ability to develop and monetise essentially three new divisions. The original wearable device had gained acceptance within the elite teams, was growing fast and was foreseeably profitable.
Have they succumbed to the hubris of early success, thinking they can replicate it in marginally related areas?
