The plan is based on simplicity. Simplicity provides cost savings because of the volumes and that is why we generally deal with telcos because they have the price point available.

Including new middleware products is not good for price points. Westpac is about providing shareholder and customer value first and foremost. Banks don’t have a good name but once you see them in action internally you realise just how much better they are at the big stuff compared to the Govt for instance. They don’t waste money generally.
