In the 2 years I've been on this thread, I haven't read the Nor share price too well.. but the 1 thing I have learnt perfectly is the Gyro-cycle.
I'm guessing there's been a good 60 odd trades on Nor in that time, and the gyro cycle I believe is currently once again in the "attempting to buy a pip lower" phase, or potentially "just bought again but won't update the position and commence ramping just yet" phase.
We've yet again recently seen the "dump them in frustration and recommence the doom n gloom posting" phase, hoping they drop a bit further to validate the sell/stop triggering, followed by a few more very depressing posts questioning their future. Followed by some dismal emails with Paul.
Then the posts return to a more balanced approach.. pretending to have some concerns, but fairly minor, along with some questions and suggestions about how nor could turn things around.
Then comes the slightly more upbeat emails with Paul - this is the current phase - again the posting on HC starts to increase.
Next we will see another subtle improvement in tone, maybe even some ideas about what Nor can improve on, and start to talk more about what's happening, before telling the forum there actually is a chance Nor can pull things off here. This phase is usually when the sentiment is again changed to "Held", even though the change is delayed to avoid looking completely obvious to the HC faithful.
Then, my favourite phase of the Gyro-cycle!
The "I've received a very interesting email from PO, I will reveal later" phase. This regularly sucks in a few HC users who aren't yet familiar with the Gyro-cycle, who keep checking the thread to see if Gyro has revealed anything.. but he drags it out, after hinting he may have something slightly sensitive (which would of course be against the rules, which wouldn't happen) because he hasn't actually received any such email from Paul.
Next comes the "major BS upramp tripe" phase, where the email isn't posted (because it doesn't exist), and it is twisted in to a Gyro rumour.. e.g, "I'm hearing GLOBAL PARTNER, but that's all I'll say, I have to find our more"
Finally is the "suddenly drift off HC" phase.. when the shares are again turned over, the multiple daily posts cease, and we again prepare for savage downramps calling for the end.
At first I thought it was just buy/sell, upramp/downramp, swinging the posts 180 degrees like a standard trader..
But, the Gyro-cycle is thorough process, like a clock with it's 1 through to 12 phases that flow beautifully!
The clock never stops.. it's got those energizer bunny batteries that are meant to last forever.
The question is.. did gyro get a buy filled in the 1.3 queue when the bot dropped the 1.3's they got earlier on chi-x? Does that explain the subtle change in posting today, and the increased number of posts!?
Or won't we know until the position changes next week/when the price picks up a point or 2?
Don't disappoint us and say the Gyro-cycle isn't in buying/bought mode mate!
