Capital raising is just a necessity, so I have no issues with it. Going to instos makes sense too for large amount of cash quickly.

What I would be interested in is if

1. The placement is fully subscribed
2. If there is any changes in substantial holdings
3. What is the purpose of the funds?

If the 3 items above came out interesting. I am sure all shareholders will be delighted.

If on the hand this is not fully subscribed or largely subscribed by the underwriters and they are intending for a large portion as a general working capital. Then there is very serious concerns. Although the last announcement seems to have given some clue on this.

I am also guessing that a new investor presentation is about to come out for the raising. So hopefully we get a more updated picture of the state of play.

Every mining development company will run into troubles. FMG was in the dog house for many years until they finally got hold off the rail line which seems impossible at the time and the rest is history. They had multiple issues before and after, no such thing as happily ever after in real life.

I still have big dreams about this. Let’s see how this goes.
