I do have it on good authority that this deal was 5 months in the making.
We have some hard working guys running the show here. They could easily have accepted the 22c offer that was on the table but after some of the major shareholders were called and plan B was explained to them, they decided they would go it alone and put in the hard work to make this a real company that will make real profits for many years to come. Looking back at it now after todays news, 22c would have been a disaster.
IMO we may see a few more deals like this by AOW with distressed assets out there.
