I don't think it's totally absurd. Obviously the dust is going to take longer to settle after an extended suspension, but this could help in settling the dust. Whether SP moves up, down or sideways, there's no way of telling if the reset has made an impact as there's bigger factors at play. Just a little prediction I made over the weekend which has no real significance but nonetheless I found interesting. Obviously more likely to be for the two reasons you stated. I'll sit with my thoughts a little longer next time.
