I am surprised to see many guys think NK threat is just BS and nothing may happen. I once posted a few things in SAU board ( I am a fairly large investor there ), quite a few guys got mad and started abusing. For them the fear of having old mines / deposits like Gubong /Weolyu in SK by SAU is uppermost now, but no one wants to talk about it. Typical ostrich like mentality by many investors.

The problem is people thought nothing untoward will happen before WWI and WWII started , if we read history.

Ofcourse as decent people we do not want bad things to happen to anyone , but it does not mean they cannot happen.In fact they happen irrespective of our likes or dislikes, history has a way of meandering on its own without any ones permission or approval.

A few defence analysts are saying USA war with NK is a not a if but when. Actually it will be a proxy war of China with USA , it may be fought to limit China influence in SE Asia , to protect SK & Japan and to bring back countries like Philli back to USA fold , as they are slowly drifting towards China. NK wants to annex SK , which means China's influence will still go up, so USA will not keep quiet beyond a certain point. The only thing holding back is the clear risk to Seoul public from across the border.

Stephen Leeb has been saying for more than a year that China will go in for yuan denominated gold backed oil supply system, now it has happened.His next prediction two days back : a mega bull run in gold and silver .
