Had something happen on Friday night I thought I might share - possibly related to NPS. With Telstra/bigpond movies, wanted to watch a film, but there was a software glitch with their payment system, so I asked to buy a voucher, as that was the only payment method that appeared to be working, but that wasn't possible. Really Telstra was useless and unhelpful to cut a long story short.
The Telstra guy on the phone then said - I will email you a free voucher for $5.99 right now so you can watch the film, please hold the line to answer some questions. I just held on until he was off the line and then hung up as I always do. Anyway - he didn't send me a voucher - I suspect he was just trying to get a good score, and told me a porkie in order to try to achieve that.
