Agree, dropping any good news before the issue of the SPP shares would be a waste, as the SP will more than likely hover around 5.3c until the SPP is out of the way.
I am up to my ears in cxo shares too. However, I bought more on Monday, and will partake in the SPP for one reason: I'm confident Hartleys won't want to drop the hammer and smash the sell button until their 8c options are in the money (then again, they like selling cxo for pips so who knows?).
As some have already said, it is likely there could/will be a pump to 8c coming so Hartleys can get their fill. So from a purely trading perspective, treating your SPP shares as a trading parcel, I think there could be some money to be made here..
And at the end of the day, as annoyed as I am with the placement, I am still long on cxo, I believe the cxo story. The more money they have to put to exploration the better.
