"Can you explain how a civilised modern society, as is Australia, with a regulatory system approximately equivalent to most if not all western societies, would ignore a company breaking the law?"

Easy to explain; ASIC is a toothless tiger and there is little real risk to Directors who disregard continuous disclosure laws in Australia. The maximum fine is a ridiculous tiny individual fine up to $22,000 but also up to 5 years in prison. However ASIC must actually prosecute perpetrators.

"I believe most mistakes in life are made by taking short-cuts brought on by emotion. This is an investment that went wrong. No off loading blame, simply a wrong call made by the BOD and a wrong call made by investors".

I have no problem with people who make mistakes with there own money. I have a big problem with people who take short cuts with my money and then lie and deceive about what happened.

"If there is a breaking of the law then the authorities would have dealt with it. Your notion of continuous disclosure is flawed in my opinion."

    See my first answer above.

"...if over 10yrs one averages a return of 10% that is pretty good, I think. Would it matter that in the middle of that period one slipped to -50% for a period?"

Spoken like a day trader all just part of the risk eh...so what's 10 years or so to recoup capital SH were deceived and conned out of not even including lost profit opportunity on a real investment.

Do you think it's fair for directors who mislead, deceived, and conned investors out of large amounts of money not to be punished? I do know it happens here all the time. Compare that to the USA where they lock up Directors who deceive and con shareholders for life without any possibility of parole.

This isn't the quality investment AG & Co presented in 2015. I personally detest having history with a stock only day traded by people like you and held by speculators just having a punt. Good luck though Doc maybe you can do as well as Saci day trading this bag of crap.
