It's just shareholder approval to issue the shares, whether they choose to go down that path and issue them or not is another story.
I can't see Sinomine wanting to take the 51% path given their recent m&a activity and their goal of being a vertically integrated battery maker. Makes no sense to have a business partner in one of their segments. Also Zimbabwe gov said any company investing $100m+ are open to negotiate everythin from tax rates to ownership %.
Personally (as I'm a ST trader and thrive on the dopamine) I'd prefer they sold the whole project and drilled out the DRC cobalt project (and the Good Days Lithium). We have been studying that land on the DRC mining portal and it is smack bang on the copperbelt lines. Same setup as Glencore/Katanga.
