I understand that Gerry Harvey ' s dairy is a large supplier to Bega, there was talk of a doubling of cow number about 12 months ago - that would have been positive for BGA.

The market has been harsh on BGA the milk and milk products business in always tough and processors are really fighting for milk to process, the issue is the farm gate is too low and many farmers are either not increasing cow numbers or decreasing cow numbers and thus the quantity of milk available for processing is in decline .
