In my experience, having worked in a number of businesses with Aust & NZ operations that the Kiwi's generally run rings around the Aussies, unfortunately. Several factors at play: (1) a real can do attitude (look at the superiority of the All Blacks), (2) no nonsense, business is serious so let's get on with it, (3) single level of government means far less regulation and minimal delays and finally (5) its a compact country with a small country so easier to manage than the vast distances of Australia.

So I am not surprised the view is that Vocus NZ has done a good job integrating the businesses in contrast to the mess the Aussies have made.
