The company has never said it will sell it definitely, and you have to remember that decision to try and sell was made by past leadership so to speak. The one thing NZ have done well is integrate the various businesses after mergers/acquisitions yet they are the ones on the chopping block paying for exactly the opposite in Australia.

Vocus has options, and selling the assets cheaply is not one they will be forced into, especially if the learnings and expertise can be applied to fixing things closer to home.
