Whilst I know people assume winter is the "best" time for pneumonia and other respiritory diseases, and so logically best for recruitment, its actually not necessarily the case.
Recently a study, “Seasonality Of Pathogens Causing Community-Acquired Pneumonia,” was published in the journal Respirology and noted that cases most frequently occurred in winter (34%), but two-thirds of patients developed these conditions during other seasons (less so in summer). https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28093834
Not trying to discount your comment (which I think is valid to discuss), but just saying because winter is finishing in the Northern hemisphere doesn't mean we can't still get enough recuits.
In fact I think it was on these very HC forums a couple of years ago that someone, might have even been someone from RAP itself, that said winter is good but it doesn't really matter what the season is for recuiting.
