OSA is just one type of Sleep Apnoea and snoring is a common component within it. Most people who snore badly actually deny that they do and refuse to accept they may have a condition. I have a tried many of the so called revolutionary devices to help sleep apnoea conditions and they just don't work because everyone is different and presents differently to treatment. CPAP is the best overall and will continue to be imho.
As I said earlier, the process to get tested and the costs are quite prohibitive to time challenged people and so they ignore it and move on.
Having an effective in home test that any GP could recommend (prior to a sleep study perhaps) is a huge bonus for patients and doctors alike.
