The bill on retaliatory measures on US sanctions was submitted to the State Duma. On what the Russian deputies are proposing to do, in a review by RBC
The bill No. 441399-7 "On measures of influence (counteraction) on unfriendly actions of the United States of America and (or) other foreign states" was introduced by the State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin and the leaders of all factions.
According to the speaker, the bill was drafted by parliamentarians "as a response to the challenges of the US and their officials, expressed in unfriendly and unconstructive actions, imposing sanctions on both the Russian Federation as a whole and its citizens and legal entities."
The bill provides for the adoption of the following measures relating to services and goods from the US:
prohibition or restriction of imports of agricultural products, raw materials and food;
prohibition or restriction of imports of alcohol and tobacco products;
prohibition or restriction of import of medicines, except for those whose analogues are not produced in Russia;
prohibition or restriction of exports of products and equipment from rare earth metals;
prohibition of state and municipal purchases of technological equipment and software;
exhaustion of the exclusive right to trademarks in respect of goods owned by US citizens;
a ban on attracting highly qualified specialists;
Increase of charges for air navigation services for aircraft engaged in the transportation of goods and using the airspace of Russia.
